Hand made relief prints
Lino cuts are hand made prints created by cutting a design into a piece of linoleum to produce a relief surface that can then be inked and printed from. Cutting and printing the linoleum again means colours can be built up one on top of another. Because of the hand made nature of this technique each print can vary slightly. Each print is signed and printed on 200gm Fabriano paper.
Digital prints from linocuts
Signed and printed on 140gm Tintoretto Gesso, a slightly textured matt paper. The prints are mounted in off-white card. The colours are very like the original linocuts.
