About me

Joanna studied graphic design and illustration at Edinburgh College of Art. She worked as a designer in book and magazine publishing in London then returned home to Belfast for a job in corporate design. It was after a short course at Seacourt Print Workshop that she became hooked on linocut printmaking.

“I have always been a keen sailor, and the wildlife I saw on Strangford Lough and further afield became the inspiration behind my linocut designs. Illustrated maps are another interest of mine, once again inspired by the coastline and associated flora and fauna.”

Joanna has a range of greetings cards, notecards and tea towels featuring her designs as well as original hand printed linocuts.
